The End Child Poverty campaign has published a map of child poverty in the UK, which pinpoints the London Borough of Tower Hamlets as the area with the highest rate. More than half of children in the borough (52%) are living in households with an income below the poverty line.

London boroughs Islington, Hackney, Westminster and Camden all feature in the top 10 list of areas worst affected.

End Child Poverty has also published poverty rates by parliamentary constituency, with Bethnal Green and Bow having the highest poverty rate in the UK.
