What does this graph show?

Inner London has the second highest rate of male premature death of any English region. The rate in Inner London of 255 deaths per 100,000 under the age of 65 is a sixth higher than the England average of 216. Outer London has a rate of 203, below the average for England.

The female premature death rate in Inner London of 147 per 100,000 is a little above the national average of 136. Although above the national average, Inner London is not the worst English region. The figure for Outer London is 120.
